Dear Folks,
Strange to say I am not behaving as I did on my first morning in England before (crying from homesickness). Sarah Ann is a dear. Fancy her staying on the dock from 9 a.m.. We got home here at 9:15 pm. She sends her love to you all. It seems good to be on land again. The Aquatania is in dock here. What immense docks Liverpool has but how low the buildings are compared with New York. Was sorry to leave our young English architect. They were such a nice family-pa, ma, and two sons. His best beloved met him and she did get a big hug and kiss. This is a nice cozy little home. Emily and I about fill it. Miss Wright is lovely too. Am sending Aunt Fanny a card. Sarah Ann looks well. Is plump and very talkative. Asks many questions about you, mother. Jane forgot last night and sat with her legs crossed. I remember it was an awful thing to do.
Your F.
