We are off! Have secured everything and are now on deck with glasses. Am anxious for dinner gong. Mrs. Towne's daughter was down to see Jane and left a package in our stateroom. We waved good-bye to Uncle and Floss at 12. Elsie Newboldt was over at the house this morning. She is charming. There seem to be plenty on the boat. Very hot so 'tis well we are leaving.
